Caitlin can...
Babbling with a lot with consonants now. Favorites are: mamamamama, bababababa, and AHHHHHHHH!!!!
Continue to scoot and use those toe muscles every day. Starting to get up on hands and knees, but not quite sure what to do once she gets up there.
Feeding:
Caitlin is breastfed 6 times a day. She eats fruit or fruit mixed with yogurt every morning. If she is still hungry, she also get some puffs or yogurt bites. For dinner, she has some finger food (avocado, watermelon, or cucumber) and then a homemade puree of fruit and/or veggie. We tried chicken this week, but she was not a fan. She makes the funniest "Yuck" face ever accompanied by theatrical gagging (seriously, this kid could win an Oscar).
Sleeping:
Caitlin sleeps from 6pm to usually 530ish am. She is up about 45 minutes, and then goes back down for another 1 1/2 to 2 hours (she's kinda trained/used to this from school schedule... she let's Daddy sleep in from working 2nd shift). She takes 2 naps. One at 10am and one at 2pm. Usually 1 to 1 1/2 hours long.
She does not like to be rocked or cuddled to sleep. She wiggles and fusses if we try. She wants to be in her sleep sack, have her box fan turned on high (white noise), be given her pacifier, and be put down. She will fuss for a couple minutes, and then put herself to sleep.
Loves:
Knocking towers of blocks down. BOOM!
Playing peek-a-boo. One of the few times she *may* laugh (she makes us work for those giggles!).
Standing up with help (pulled herself up for the first time today!)
Playing in the dog food bowls and water bowl. These may be relocated REAL soon.
Not a Fan of:
Missing her nap times. She is a pretty happy baby except when she's short on sleep. Then she's loud and very cranky!
Wearing:
Clothes: 9 month onesies and 9 month outfits
Diapers: size 3 Luvs
Random Happenings:
We have really been enjoying Summer 2012. We usually run errands one to two times a day just to get out of the house. Caitlin loves to be out and about looking at everything. We bought a Beco Butterfly 2 baby carrier and Caitlin loves it!
We usually go swimming about 4 to 5 times a week. She loves splashing the water and playing with her water toys.
We are going back to MI this coming weekend. Get ready for Miss Caitlin, Michigan!
Glad u like the carrier. That's the one I got too actually, but haven't used it yet. I was thinking ours was diff. the other day when u said about it. You girls look cute with it!

Oh, I didn't know you had a Beco. You'll have to let me know how you like it compared to the Ergo. I read a lot of reviews on both. Apparently, the Beco is supposed to be a bit cooler which will probably be nice in the AZ heat!!!

Water and dog bowl currently are in our bedroom. We couldn't find a better place n our little house and his bathroom doesn't work. Good luck!
