James William, NINE

James, soaking in these sweet years with my baby! You are so sweet, athletic, goofy. You are facing a BIG change next school year by switching schools and are very nervous about it, but we know that you will adjust and do great. I pray that this move is the right move for our family.


James CAN...

Played kid pitch for another couple seasons. Dad was able to help coach, and Levi and our neighbor boy friend were able to play with you during spring season which was oh so fun!

Still playing soccer. Moved up to 9-10 and are still adjusting to that level, but you'll get there. Dad's been working with you on your kicks.

Eating:
Still game for just about anything. Still not a fan of cream of chicken anything. That's about it. And LOVES all things chocolate.

Sleeping:
You sleep from 8:30 until 7:00 in the summer, but 8:00-6:00 or 6:30 during the school year. We'll have to adjust soon.

Loves:
CARS... still!!! I love it so much!

Still loves Legos. Made tons of sets between Christmas and your birthday.

Being active. This past year, we've noticed how much you need to move. Swimming, ice skating, kicking the soccer ball, roller blading. We try our best to keep you moving during this heat.

Not a Fan of:

Being too busy. You're a homebody, and are just content with our family at home.

Wearing:
You love to DRESS to IMPRESS. You care so much more about what you wear compared to Levi. Clothes: Just moved up to 10/12

Shoes: size 4... getting close to size 5

I love snuggling with you! I pray that God gives you peace about the new school and that the transition is smooth. I pray that you find good friends.

Levi Michael, 11.5

Levi Michael: this was a big year for you as we figured out your ADHD medication. We are so glad to have the resources to help you do focus and do your best in school. You will be making a BIG transition next year to a new school, and we pray that those teachers love you as much as the teachers at Trinity. You are such a special and fun kid!

LEVI can...
be a goalie in soccer. During the last season, you stepped up when there was no goalie, and grew so much. We'll see what the future holds for you as goalie, but proud of you for stepping out of your comfort zone.

You got to play another season of baseball with James, and it was, oh so fun! You were a great batter and your fielding skills really improved as well. Your new school has a baseball team, so looking forward to seeing your love of a new sport continue to grow.

You tried something new! Swim Team. Although you claimed to hate it, it was so good for you physically and mentally and at the end of the season you said you would do it again!

Fishing is still one of your favorite things. You watch tons of videos on it, and go as often as possible. Way to hot now. 😭

Eating:
Favorites are Mexican Rice, Pepperoni Pizza, Ramen, Cuties, Goldfish, Berries STILL. We are trying to have you eat more protein: so yogurts, cheese, peanut butter, protein bars.

Sleeping:
Sleeps from 9:30-7:30 in the summer, 9:00-6:30 during school.

Loves:
Video Games: enjoying Roblox with Caitlin and James now in the summer

Playdates with friends especially sleepovers. Although there isn't much sleeping with these sleepovers. 🤣

Baseball cards. You've spent a lot of time sorting them and scanning them, in hopes of finding the next BIG card.

Still loves playing with action figures and with your brother. I love that you can still be a kid.

Not a Fan of:
Homework. This is our hardest thing. Hoping this year is better, but not sure. We'll keep working on it.

Stopping having fun to do chores. Work Hard, Play Hard is a motto I hope you carry with you through life.

Caitlin Kim 14.5

Caitlin Kim, such a BIG year for you! You completed your 8th grade and final year at Trinity after 11 years there. You went on pointe for ballet. You are growing into such an amazing person, and we're so proud to be your parents!

Caitlin can...
DANCE! You did it! You are on pointe! You also moved up to level 4 for next year. So many hours and years of dedication have gotten you here!

You participated in cross country, cheer, and played clarinet this year. Glad you could have band again! This summer you also did swim team with Levi which was fun!

Eating:
Your favorites are: spicy, cheesy ramen (makes a mess out of our sink, but I know someday we will miss it), popcorn, fruit, takis and hot cheetos.

Sleeping:
You go to bed around 10 and wake up around 610 for school. You enjoy sleeping in on the weekends! In the summer, I normally have to get you up for swim team at 845.

Loves:
Dancing.

Spending time with Evelyn. Hanging out with Leanna. I'm so glad you have close, sweet friends.

Still Make up. Skin Care. Shopping.

Not a Fan of:
Your brothers still get on your nerves, but I love summer because you all do spend more time with each other, play roblox, going on our road trip to Williams, watching movies, and going to sporting events (which you never want to go to, but end up having a pretty good time at once we go!)

You were super stressed about getting your wisdom teeth out, but did a good job, and are now currently on the mend!

Next Up, HIGH SCHOOL! I can't believe it! I can't wait to hear all about the exciting new classes and opportunities that come with it! You are so ready, and we'll be cheering you on the whole way!

James William, EIGHT

James, you remind me a lot of your father. Easy going, likes to be alone at times, gets into projects (legos are your speciality). You are my snuggles and giggles, and I love you so much!

James CAN...

Play kid pitch baseball. You held your own! Excited to see you grow as you guys were some of the youngest in that division. So special that you could do it with your brother and with your dad coaching!

Whistle! You worked on this a lot in MI, and are now constantly whistling. LOL

Play soccer! You actually played up in Levi's division this past season and grew so much in confidence.

Was old enough for Cadets this year. Another special time with your brother and Dad.

Ran the Zoo Run with me this year! Good Job, Buddy!

Eating:
You're up to try just about anything! The only thing I've found you don't care for is cream of chicken anything. LOL Not bad. Your favorite breakfast is waffles or panckaes. You love mac and cheese, chicken nuggets, all sorts of pastas, tacos, like I said just about anything. You have a big sweet tooth and LOVE anything CHOCOLATE! *This really hasn't changed at all!*

Sleeping:
You sleep from 7:45 until 6:00.

Loves:
CARS... it will be a sad day when you stop playing them. *I'm so glad you still love them!*

LEGOS For your birthday, that's all you asked for and you proceeded to make almost all of them that weekend. *This also hasn't changed!* You just have moved on to bigger sets. Your dedication is impressive.

STUFFIES and Blankets *I love how much has stayed the same!* I know things will change as you grow, but I really am holding on to everything as you ARE my last baby!

Levi Michael 10.5

LEVI can...
play BASEBALL! First season, and overall, had a great time! You made new friends, was one of the most consistent batters, and learned the game.

make your own smoothies. You would probably make one every day if I let you, but you have one once a week as a treat and LOVE them!

DRIVE Grammy and Grampy's golf cart! You loved that this time around in Michigan. You love to go fast! LOL

Eating:

You got more into baseball cards now. Just bought a pack in Michigan. You also love reading. Most often if you get bored, you pick up a book. Love it!

Loves all sorts of animals and bugs.

Still a Kansas City fan. Don't care who doesn't like it, and you probably actually love that they hate on it!

Not a Fan of:
You say you don't like hiking, but once we get started, you do great! This year we hiked in Zion and a bit in Michigan as well. Does the body good to get outside and move! Hope you take this with you in life!

Caitlin Kim THIRTEEN

Caitlin Kim... you are a TEEN! I can't believe it. You were just an itty bitty baby. And then the cutest little girl with pigtails. It all happened so fast!

Caitlin can...
DANCE! You performed in the Nutcracker this year, and we were so proud of you! You were promoted to Level 3, and will begin your pre pointe work. So exciting!

This year, with a busier dance schedule, you have just done cross country so far. You enjoy the practices, but have only gotten to participate in one meet so far. It was a rough one. You threw up half way through, and did not finish the way you wanted to, but you'll get the next one!

Eating:
Your favorites are: popcorn, fruit especially anything mango, hot cheetos!, sushi, pasta, dried fruit, and italian ices. You love most foods!

Sleeping:
You go to bed around 9:30 and wake up around 6 for school. You enjoy sleeping in on the weekends!

Loves:
Dancing.

Not a Fan of:
Starting to be a little more emotional, distant here or there. I know it's normal... but it's still hard. It's still on the rare side, so holding on to all our sweet family times for now!

Still your brothers. Trying to crack down on that. I hope and pray you have good relationships with them when you are grown. Close families are so special!
