11 Months

One more month and my dear, sweet baby will be 1 year old! I can't believe it! Caitlin's little personality is starting to come out more and more. It's been so fun getting to know her more and more every day.

She's opinionated, persistent, and loves routine. Sound like someone else you know?!

She loves to be busy, but when something captures her attention she can play or sit quietly for long periods of times.

She's an introvert. She likes to people watch, but likes her down time at home too.

She's the most beautiful little girl I know!

Size on my to do list tomorrow (will update)

Caitlin can...
Climb. Up and over everything. Including us. We are, but mere jungle gyms these days.

Share items. We ask "Caitlin, can we have that?" Depending on what she has and how many there are, she will give us one.

Stack blocks, cups, boxes.

Feeding:
Breastfeeds 4 times a day (twice in the morning and in the evening). Takes 2 bottles throughout the day. Dropped a bottle now that she's eating more at meals.

Caitlin loves eating. She does the funniest little head bob/shake when she's eating. She yells and pounds her hand on her tray when she is ready for more food. Perhaps we should revisit signing "more". Oh, and "please".

Still having constipation issues. Breaks my heart. Upped apple juice to twice a day now. If she is still having issues by her 1 year appointment, we may need to put her on a laxative. Really don't want to, so trying everything we can to "naturally" take care of this.

Sleeping:
Bedtime is at 6:30pm. Usually feeds at 5:30isham and wakes for the day at 6:30ish. Dropped down to two naps with no extended nighttime. Naps at 8:30am for an hour and half to two hours and 1:00pm for another hour and half. That girl loves her sleep (Momma does too)!

Loves:
Letting you know her disdain for your choices. Man, can that girl screech.

Playing with buckles. Thinking about getting her the buckle bear for Christmas or her birthday.

Sitting in her "chair". Another potential present idea?

Going on walks. She's taken to climbing up into her stroller and yelling that it's time to go!

Tearing down all Momma's decorations. Clearly, I need to more shelving options, not less "knick-knacks" as someone (ahem, Jason) claims.

Not a Fan of:
Sitting still for diaper or clothes changing.

Wearing shoes...not so much.

Wearing:
Clothes: Mostly 9 month onesies and 9 month outfits, but I have pulled out the 12 month stuff. She's kind of in between sizes right now.

Diapers: size 3 Luvs

Shoes: size 2 when I can get her to leave them on!

Next month... 1 year. Gulp.
