Caitlin Kim 11.5

Time is flying. Somehow I missed Blog Age 11, so I will try to emcompass all of age 11 in this one post. We are all relishing the summer and soaking in these days. Right now, we are all anticipating our Michigan vacation. Such a fun part of summer.

Caitlin can...
play school sports! You loved learning and participating in many school sports this school year, including: volleyball, cross country, and cheer. Next year, you say you want to try basketball.

DANCE! You moved up to Ballet C for the next dance season, and you were so excited and proud. You did a fabulous job at your last recital, and as long as you can continue to coordinate the dance schedule and the school schedule, we are happy to help you pursue your interests.

PLAY CLARINET You participated in band this year, and learned how to play the clarinet. Excited to watch as you continue in your musical skills. Right now, you are learning guitar from one that Agnes gave you.

Cooking especially baking or entertaining and setting up for guests. It's nice to have the help.

Eating:
Your favorites are: popcorn, corn pops, oatmeal, all kinds of fruit, and pasta. You will try anything and also like sushi and Greek Gyros.

Sleeping:
You go to bed around 9:15 and wake up around 6:45 (during summer you go to bed around 9:30 and wake up around 7:45.

Loves:
Dancing.

Reading ❤️ Lately, your favorite series has been Wings of Fire.

Being with your friends. We've been able to have lots of friends over, and you've been invited to hang out with different friends this summer as well.

Not a Fan of:
Being with People all the time. This has been since you were a baby, and I deeply relate. If you have a sleepover, we know that you'll want some time to yourself when you return home.

Your brothers at times. You do bond well with them especially when we are on vacations, and it is just the 3 of you. Regular sibling stuff.

Playing with the little kids all the time. We've been letting you have a friend over when we have friends over without an older girl. That seems to work well.

Wearing:
Clothes: XL (12/14)

Shoes: size 4 (only one size away from mine!) I definitely think you'll be taller than me in the end!

I love my girl! You still love talking to us, and I'm hoping this continues as long as possible. It is so fun to have someone to do nails with, watch dance and cooking competitions with, shopping, and do all the girly things. So thankful for you, and proud of you!
