James William 3.5 Years Old

James William. You're getting so BIG! You hit your THREENAGER years late. While Caitlin and Levi hit their toddler stride 2.5-3.5, you (as a typical lastborn) surprised us all and waited until 3.5... Does that mean we have 3/4 of a year to go?! 😱 We LOVE you regardless, but bringing a little drama lately...

James CAN...

color. You enjoy coloring and can spend quite awhile coloring with different colors and telling us what your scribbles "say".

Swim without swimmies. Started this at the end of the summer!

Starting to buckle buckles, zip zippers, and work on buttons. So fun!

Eating:
You are still a great eater. You love hot chocolate in the morning. Berries. Cheese. Pasta. You always say "oh, me like that!"

Sleeping:
Been sleeping a bit longer lately. Maybe a growth spurt? 7:30-7:30 (used to be up at 6:30) and nap from 2:00-4:00

Loves:
Still having a love affair with cars. You can play all day every day.

playing outside.

reading books. You obsess about one book for a couple weeks, and then on to the next book obsession.

Not a Fan of:
getting messy. Especially on the face. Whipped cream NO. Silly string. NO!

Not being close to family. Wants to make sure that mom or someone familiar is close by. Not a huge fan of Daycare right now, but now it's for your best.

Clothes: 4T
Diapers: pull ups for sleeping

Love you so much my snuggle bug! I love that you'll cuddle by me in a movie. Treasuring all these toddler moments before you're a little boy. SOAK IT IN!
