Levi 20 months

Yep, that post is supposed to say 18 months. Really, in a few more days, this post would need to be titled 21 months. Boy, oh boy, time has flown. You truly are all boy! You love noise, people, exploring, conquering. But you are my snuggle bunny. You love to give kisses and when you are tired you come to just be held. Those are the moments I just want to make time stand still while I breathe in your scent and watch you breathe in and out. I love to watch you in your busyness, make sense of the words you try to form, and experience everything for the first time. You are the smile of our family.

Size Height: approximately 34 inches Weight: approximately 25 pounds

LEVI can...
Talk. I am amazed at the words you are able to say. Your favorites are: "Let's Go!" or just "Go! Go! Go!", "Daaady", "A-mama!", "dodgy", "all done", "uh-oh" but you really can say just about all other words.

Stack blocks. You only can stand doing about 4 blocks before you can't resist knocking them over with a satisfying crash.

Eat with a spoon. You often try several times until, if unsuccessful, picking it up with your pudgy fingers.

Feeding:
Levi loves to eat most foods. Favorites are: mac and cheese, spaghetti, yogurt fruit, and french fries.

Sleeping:
Bedtime is around 7:15 now that it is summer (7pm during the school year). Wake ups this summer has ranged from 6:15-8:30, but usually sometime around 7:30. He has been taking long naps probably tired from all the swimming, playdates, and summer adventures. Generally 1:30-4:00 or 2:00-(sometimes)5:00!

Loves:
Climbing up little chairs to reach items on the counter or dining room table. (Dad loves not being able to find his stuff later ;) )

Swimming. He has no fear and jumps in, puts his face under water, blows bubbles, and does everything he can to keep up with sister.

Has taken a huge liking to trains "choo-choo". He regularly asks to watch choo-choo, play it on the ipad, and gets excited to play with trucks and trains as well.

Reading books. One of the few times that boy will sit still. Favorites are touch and feel books.

Not a Fan of:
Still getting in his car seat. Not being strapped down! Anything, but that!

Getting caught by sister. He loves getting into her stuff, and then will run away from her once he is inevitably caught. He has a HUGE smile and laughter when he is running away, however, she is much bigger, stronger, faster than he is (for now) so she always catches him and takes whatever he made off with to which he howls and cries (real tears!) and comes running to unsympathetic mom. ; P

Wearing:
Clothes: 18 months

Diapers: size 4 Luvs, size 5 overnights just recently since he's been sleeping so long.

Shoes: always wearing these days size 5! (C was wearing these at age 3 YEARS) You will be bigger than her, my son.

I have been having such an amazing summer. I am so thankful for a job that gives me extended time off to just soak in my children. I love you, Levi Michael. You are pure joy!
